Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and variance analysis.
- Interpret financial data and trends, identifying insights and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, working closely with department managers to gather input and validate assumptions.
- Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to management, highlighting areas of concern or opportunity.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports and statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and strategic initiatives, providing analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and assess the financial implications of business initiatives.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and financial modeling as needed to support special projects or initiatives.
- Manipulate and analyze large datasets using Excel or other analytical tools to extract meaningful insights.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in financial processes, recommending and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Streamline financial reporting and analysis processes to reduce manual effort and improve timeliness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or similar roles.
