We are seeking a talented and experienced Chemical Process Engineer to join our team. The Chemical Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and improving chemical processes and production systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in chemical engineering principles, process optimization techniques, and project management. Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop chemical processes, equipment, and systems for manufacturing products or materials, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to evaluate process performance, identify improvement opportunities, and optimize process parameters.

Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in existing processes, and develop strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and increase yields.

Implement process optimization initiatives, such as process automation, equipment upgrades, and procedural improvements, to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Develop and implement quality control measures and process monitoring systems to ensure product quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications and standards.

Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of process deviations, non-conformities, and quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.

Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to execute process improvement projects, from concept development and feasibility analysis to implementation and validation.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, engineering, and R&D teams, as well as external partners and vendors, to drive project success and achieve project objectives.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies in all aspects of process design, operation, and maintenance.

Conduct process hazard analyses (PHA), risk assessments, and safety audits, implementing measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or certification is a plus.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in chemical process engineering or related roles.


Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, process design, and optimization techniques.

Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus, CHEMCAD, or HYSYS.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Project management abilities with the capacity to lead and execute projects effectively.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
