The Junior Accountant will support the direct supervisor in meeting financial objectives, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, and contributing to financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Post and process journal entries for accurate recording of business transactions

Update accounts receivable, issue invoices, and manage accounts payable including issuing purchase orders

Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records

Assist in reviewing expenses and updating financial data in databases

Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to management

Assist senior accountants in monthly/yearly closings and other accounting projects as needed

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a junior accountant

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field

Qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA are a plus but not required

Skills & Competencies:

Good understanding of accounting principles and practices

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Visual Dolphin is advantageous

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
