The Logistics Manager oversees the logistical and shipping budget and plays a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and selecting strategic partners to maximize the business potential. They lead the execution of business unit strategies, manage complex relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.


Key Responsibilities:


Handle the logistical and shipping budget effectively.

Lead the identification, evaluation, and selection of strategic partners.

Evaluate existing partners and manage relationships to facilitate business growth.

Execute business unit strategies and plans while maintaining effective communication with partners.

Enable third-party risk management strategies and drive exceptional customer experience.

Develop robust performance metrics for multi-dimensional measurement of supply chain factors.

Formulate, negotiate, and finalize contracts and agreements with 3PL and other partners.

Contribute to the identification of new business opportunities for continuous improvement.


Qualifications:


Degree: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Certification: Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Training Course: Training in Third-Party Risk Management or Contract Negotiation is advantageous.

Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in logistics management or related field.


Skills & Competencies:


Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage complex relationships and conflicting deadlines.

Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.

Knowledge of international best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

Proven track record of contract negotiation and management.

Ability to develop and implement performance metrics.

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
